Since we came together as a coalition, Black Women for a Better Education has been buoyed by a great deal of interest, support, and offers to help. To all of you who have joined and given attention to our cause, thank you. While we don’t always agree and we each have our own nuanced and personal experiences with Pittsburgh Public Schools, we are united with those who are willing to take action on behalf of Black children and families. We cannot go this alone, and we know there’s a place for everyone in this movement to ensure Black children residing in Pittsburgh have access to high-quality schools and educational opportunities.
